One of the things so many visitors to St. Augustine need to be prepared for is rainy weather. The infrastructure in the oldest city certainly isn’t what you are accustomed to in a new subdivision. St. Augustine experiences flooding during moderate to heavy rains. 

While Florida is “The Sunshine State”, we are known for heavy downpours in the afternoon, which can flood a few streets in our city.

So, pack rain jackets, umbrellas, and an extra pair of shoes that are ideal for these conditions.
